Terms and Conditions of Hire for inflatables
Our aim is for you to have an enjoyable experience when using our service. We are fortunate enough to find this to be the case for the majority of our customers who show and treat the items they hire with care and respect. The information below will help you to understand the expectations we have and how you can ensure the safety and enjoyment of our equipment
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the equipment hired will fit in the space available and on a suitable surface. If the equipment can not be set up in the available space, payment in full will be required with no exceptions. Please make sure you are aware of ceiling height and the height that any suspended light fittings in indoor venues at the time of booking so that we can ensure the height of inflatables is suitable.
Each booking is subject to a non-refundable booking fee of £25. This fee covers the administration and processing of bookings by our staff and systems. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have read and understood the terms and conditions alongside the payments and cancellations policy before bookings with us. Unsuitable surfaces and lack of space will not be subject to a refund of a booking fee. This information is detailed in our terms and conditions of hire and on product listings as well as in payments and cancellations policy that are all available prior to booking.
Inflatables should be inflated on our arrival at the time of collection regardless of if this is a day or overnight hire.
Outdoor set ups must be on grass as we have to peg inflatables into the ground. We ARE NOT able to site equipment on concrete, tarmac etc as it requires 165kg per anchor point to safely secure an inflatable on such surfaces and a minimum of 6 anchor points are on each inflatable ( our slides have up to 25 anchor points). If you have astro turf and are happy for us to peg through this then we can set up as long as we can get our 380mm pegs into the ground and it is not laid over a concrete base.
It is the responsibility of the person/s hiring equipment to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to avoid injury or cause damage or mess to the equipment. This includes communication with guests and users of expected behaviours and rules of safe play.
Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed:A responsible adult must be supervising the equipment at ALL times. No person under the influence of drink or drugs should supervise, operate or use the equipment. Please do not rely on parents of individual children to supervise the equipment. Please also do not rely on signage or written instructions to be followed by guests. Allocating one person to supervise equipment will ensure that it is used and maintained properly during hire. This is strongly advised for larger events such as Christenings and Weddings. Supervision of children and equipment can not be done at a distance. The adult supervising should be in the immediate area of the castle and not at a distance.
We will set up the unit on delivery. The unit MUST NOT BE MOVED. This is to ensure that there is no damage to the unit and that it has been set up by a competent person.
NO adult should use any equipment that is supplied solely for children's use. These units are intended for use by persons below the age of 12yrs. Please ensure no person over this age uses the equipment. No adults are to use the inflatables unless an adult inflatable has been hired.
Always ensure the equipment is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of people using it. Each unit has details of the amount of users according to height displayed on it
Always avoid a mix of large and small children at the same time. Please follow the instructions given and the instructions on the safety label of the inflatable.

This will avoid both choking hazards and potential soiling of or damage to the unit which will incur an additional charge.
A cleaning charge will applicable if the inflatable is heavily soiled. We ask that our equipment is left at the end of a hire in the same condition it is delivered in. Cleaning is charged at £30.00 per hour. Any soiling damage will be charged as per contract which could include full replacement cost and also account for loss of earnings incurred
A £25 surcharge will be payable on hall pif balls if they are not in the ball pit on our return. It is not acceptable to expect our staff to collect balls up that have been thrown across a room!
No firepits, fires, BBQ's or smoking near inflatables.
No sprinklers, hose pipes, water bombs etc to be used on the inflatable.
Climbing, hanging or sitting on side walls or roof beams is DANGEROUS and MUST NOT be allowed.
Children should not be pushing, colliding, fighting, attempting somersaults, wrestling, running or behaving in a manner likely to cause injury, damage or distress to others or the equipment. This includes running into and bouncing off the walls of the equipment.
DO NOT allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this could damage both the equipment and injure the user
DO NOT allow adults or children to sit on the sides of ball pits this causing misshaping of the walls.
Ball pits- Please do not allow children to throw these around the room! The balls are for use in the ball pit.
Ensure a safety zone of 6 feet (2 metres) around the equipment is kept clear at all times and use all anchors provided.
The inflatable should not be used in high winds (24 mph or above) or wet conditions and should be switched off. After rain showers, any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with the aid of a towel.
The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit must not be used.
In the event that the blower stops working, ensure ALL users exit the inflatable immediately. Make sure the blower tube has not come loose, the deflation zip is still closed and that nothing is obstructing the blower. Failing all this, please contact us for possible further assistance. If the unit has been overcrowded this may cause the blower tube to come loose.
Do not allow children to access anchor point and blower areas ( side and rear of the inflatable)
Always use the plug provided. Only use electrical equipment supplied by us, as all electrical equipment is fully tested to the appropriate Health and Safety Guidelines by a qualified electrician and fitted with British Standard approved connections. These connections are splash proof and can be left out in wet weather although do not allow them to become submerged in water.
Do not allow any person to interfere, adjust or repair any electrical item, even if qualified to do so. Failure to do so may result in additional cost for the replacement or repair of damaged parts.
Any damage to equipment caused by misuse, neglect, loss or failure to follow these conditions, shall deem the Hirer liable for full repair or replacement costs in addition to any loss of business as a result of such loss or damage as per hire contract.
It is essential that these rules are adhered to in order to protect the equipment and those using it. Should there be any questions/issues regarding this, please contact us and resolve them prior to rental.
Where event organisers public liability insurance does not cover the supervising of inflatables this is something that we are able to provide.
The supervision of inflatables is to ensure safe use and NOT supervision of other people's children. It is not a childminding service. The supervision of children remains the responsibility of parents / carers and they should remain at the inflatable whilst they are taking a turn.
Staff will time the length of each groups turn often using a timer on their mobile phone. Whilst it may appear staff are "on their phone" this will be for the purpose of timing groups. If there are any concerns about how our team are or have supervised equipment this needs to be dealt with at the time or within 24 hours of hire so that we are able to investigate and respond accordingly.
You MUST deflate the unit if the wind exceeds Beaufort Scale 5. 19 - 24mph. An anemometer will be supplied for recordings of wind speed along with recording sheets during the period of hire. Copies of these records will be retained by ourselves. For safety. You MUST ensure that the safety step is for walking on and off. The safety step is NOT for bouncing on.
Please be aware that our delivery and collection times are approximate. You can help us to keep to time by making sure that there is space in your driveway or outside your property for our vehicle so we can unload efficiently. Please note our equipment is heavy and bulky and will need to be moved on a sack truck. Please make sure there is room for us to move the items without instructions and that all animal mess, debris, toys, rubbish etc is cleared so that we have a clear area to set up in.
Please make sure you have read and understood the information section in each listing in the website so that you understand when and where items can be used and when or where additional charges will apply. Additional charges will be dependent upon the damage or soiling and could reflect replacement costs which can be over £1000 (for children's castles) and potentially much more depending on the equipment hired
Food related machines and items
All of our items are checked and tested before and after each hire. Please note that some items draw a large amount of power and it is the hirers responsibility to ensure that the circuit upon which items hired will be plugged in can manage the power required.
Any issues with the electrical supply at the venue of the hire which prevents an item from being used will be at the responsibility of the hirer and will not be eligible for a refund.
